Maybe, but only if I can submit a picture of a cute child opening a cute present (which happens to be a cute kitten) in front of a cute tree.

At the risk of flogging a dead horse...

Postby ozric » Mon Dec 15, 2008 3:25 pm

What about re-opening the photo comp with a Christmas/New Year (I won't submit and say "Holiday") Special?

The theme could be:

"No festive looking children or cats!" In other words show us something that made your Christmas/New Year out of the ordinary...

I'm happy to set it up if anyone's interested, in fact, I might do that anyway. I've done it now Photo Comp ChriNY 08 And I suggest we let it run 'til the end of January to give everyone a chance to get back to the office where there is more time to review photos and post messages to forums etc...

good.

what about festive dads wearing a party hat with their 'merry fuck christmas' t-shirt on?
srsly.
every year he finished xmas dinner(usually curry),puts on a paper hat, gets a beer and stands by the tree
he then proceeds to shout
"beth, beth!!take my photo next to the tree"
he of course adds in a rude gesture too.

he isnt a cute cat or child......
just a silly old man.
so what will father christmas bring,
if everyones gone shoplifting?

That's fine, it's just cats and children...

Generally I've found it difficult to use the word 'cute' when talking about someone's dad.

I seem to have a distinct lack of photos of anyone/thing this festive season.

Bethany Rose, Photos where the most festive thing is behind the camera are perfect for this topic, but don't tell us the subject matter as we'll know which ones are yours and vote accordingly...

Everybody else, You've had a week to bet bored with work again, so why not enter the photo comp...

Hurrah!!!
The results are in...
It has taken me all weekend to count them...

Unfortunately there were some spoilt ballot papers, (ie, Bethany Rose failed to vote for three pictures.)

Taking this into account, the clear winner with lots of points is...

Christmas in the country.

Well done, whoever you were, fame and fortune will be yours... (Bethany Rose, I have my suspicions...)
